HHD’s producing credits span multiple broadcasters and genre’s including comedy Network’s standup special “Irwin Barker: Can’t Stop Laughing” (1x90),Sportsnet’s quiz show “Beer Money” (30x30) produced through her own company Mom and Dad Productions, CBC’s award-winning youth documentary series “Make Some Noise” (13x30) Animal Planet’s feel good “Surprise It’s a Puppy” (2x30) HGTV’s long-running franchise “Love It or List It Vancouver”(52x60) and CITY TV’s “Mind Control” (1x60) game show pilot with “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett’s company. Heather has also successfully co-developed,pitched & produced 7 original television series “Word Travels” (40x30) forOLN/National Geographic Channel, “She’s Crafty” (23x30) and “Pure Design”(26x30) for HGTV, “Smart Cookies (26x30), and “Anna and Kristina’s Cooked”(1x60) for W Network, “Get Stuffed” (13x30) for OLN and “Buyologic”(13x30) for OWN.As a factual director Heather has worked on international formats including“Bachelorette Canada: After the Final Rose” and “Men Tell All” specials for WNetwork and multiple episodes of HGTV’s “Love It or List It” franchise both“Vancouver” and “Vacation Home” (nominated for CSA Best Directorlifestyle/information series 2017). HHD also directed the successful multi-camera teen sitcom “Some Assembly Required” for YTV, “Animal News Now” a CBCdigital scripted kids series that she co-developed, the long-running national talk/variety show “Vicki Gabereau” for CTV, and the live music special “GarthBrooks: Sevens” for CMT. Recently Heather returned to Vancouver after directing her second episode of the popular scripted pre-school series “DinoDana” for Amazon/TVO.
